In honor of the holiday season and the 12 Days of Chistmas, here’s a dozen logos I really want to execute in the near future, both here and with our friends over at SportsLogosNet, in no particular order:
1. Maine Mariners – AHL (Okay, this is definitely #1 on my list.)
2. Moncton Golden Flames – AHL
3. Dallas Stars – NHL
4. Texas Longhorns – NCAA (This is just a great logo.)
5. Providence College Friars – NCAA (alma mater! Hooray school spirit!)
6. Houston Texans – NFL (My favorite logo in pro sports to have been developed since 2000.)
7. Miami Dolphins – NFL (I’ve got a great idea for this one that I previously used for an NHL Foogos. Care to guess?)
8. DA BEARS! – NFL
9. Detroit Lions – NFL
10. Detroit Tigers – MLB
11. Nintendo! (It’s cereal now!…. in 1988.)
12. Starbucks.
For the record, no chance in hell are all of these done by Christmas. I’ll be thrilled if I got half done by New Year’s.
