The Boston Rorschachs

by | Sep 30, 2011 | Baseball, Blog, MLB, Sport

Some unreal baseball drama on Wednesday night. I asked on Twitter if the man responsible for scripting those games was the screenwriter of the Mighty Ducks or Bad News Bears.

The Boston Red Sox were one of the teams that left their fates to chance (instead of winning) and came up short of the postseason. I’m not sure how bad anyone feels for them outside of Beantown. As far as I’m concerned New England sports teams are right up there with New York teams in the I-don’t-like-you-one-bit department. So the Sox losing is like Cobra Kai falling short at the karate tournament.

But good news, Chowdah Heads! I was playing around with ketchup during the game, and came up with a pair of miniature Foogos.

The socks logo was made with one ketchup packet on a hot dog bun.

And the “B” was three ketchup packets on a separate bun.

Neither product excites me, but they look okay, and I had fun folding and opening the buns afterward:

Folded socks looks like…

The Liberty Bell. By the way, GO PHILLIES!

A folded Boston “B” looks like…

Two really cool Fonzies from happy Days leaning against the same handball wall.

ON THE MORROW: Pittsburgh Pirates! Yar!
