I didn’t expect to finish this so quickly, but the cliche is true; time does fly when you’re having fun, and it never felt like chore to work on this acrylic painting. Probably because Papa Shango is one of the coolest wrestling characters of all time. He never got a fair shake. Anyway, the final piece is just after the jump!
I’m in the process of setting up a store here on the site in the event someone wants to buy this, or some of my other permanent work. Hopefully, that’s up soon.
The next wrestler portrait comes at the suggestion of my friend Dean: “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Virgil. I’ve already sketched the general shapes on a 9×12 canvas.
TOMORROW: Ghostbusters 2!
